Literacy



In this lesson that I created with two classmates first grade students will take part in a Language Arts and social and emotional lesson. This lesson is complete with an interactive read aloud and three centers.

In this lesson that I created for first grade students includes a language arts and art lesson that comes equipped with an interactive read aloud and two centers that later on would include a three dimensional art project.

This literature plan discussion was created for first grade students and focuses on three texts titled Sparkle Boy by Lesléa Newman, Fruit Bowl by Mark Hoffman and The Brand New Kid by Katie Couric. Tagged in the lesson is the lesson plan that includes a literature discussion with these texts.



This mini lesson plan centers around language arts and was created for a second grade class. It uses the texts Charming Opal and Roxaboxen as model texts and discusses how good readers notice who is telling the story.


Interactive Read Aloud


This is a guided reading plan that is accompanied by Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus by Barbara Park.
This is a lesson plan that includes the guided reading plan. Both of these are designed for second grade.

Attached are some individualized lessons I created for one-on-one teaching of literacy with a kindergarten student. These lessons were taught in a remote setting using zoom.
